Since being drafted in the second round out of Alabama by New Orleans in 2006, he's started all 83 games he's appeared in at strong safety, and totaled 577 tackles (405 solo), four interceptions, 43 passes defended, 12 forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He's been particularly effective rushing the quarterback with 17 sacks, including a career-high 7 ½ quarterback takedowns in 2011. He is the only Saints safety to have been selected to two Pro Bowls.
